The Video Editor is responsible for reviewing and editing all audiovisual content before their production date. Video Editors commit to individual projects during their pre-production phase.

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate to complete basic and advanced video edits
  • Maintain production deadlines set by Executive Team
  • Provide updates for each stage of post-production
  • Consider feedback received through multiple reviews of each project
  • Communicate organization’s mission with professional network
  • Remain updated on the organization’s general activities and trajectory
  • Attend monthly meetings meetings with all other Divulge Alliance team members

Estimated Time Commitment:

  • 2 to 4 hours per project


  • At least 6 months of experience with video editing
  • Extensive experience with Zoom
  • Experience with documentary film-making and/or podcasting is a plus
