The Head of Content Creation is responsible for overseeing video production, in collaboration with the President. They are expected to build and maintain relationships with our main sponsors and advisors. Their primary roles are to help supervise pre-production and post-production of our audiovisual content and assist with grant applications (e.g. Projects For Progress), along with the rest of the Executive Team.

General Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Content Creators, Casting Aides, Video Crew, and Video Editors across branches
  • Assist Executive Director with with creating quality content across multiple platforms, including our podcast and YouTube channel
  • Approves content proposals
  • Communicate organization’s mission with professional network
  • Remain updated on the organization’s general activities and trajectory
  • Attend 1-hour biweekly meetings

Estimated Time Commitment:

  • 3 to 5 hours per week


  • At least 2 years of experience with video editing
  • Extensive experience with Zoom
  • Experience with documentary film-making and/or podcasting is a plus
